A thin protective coating was applied to help protect the finish without building up too much texture. The coating can withstand light scratches, but this system should still be handled with care and should not be treated roughly or carelessly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"2116\"\u003eThe custom glass top screen lens has a thin blue shimmer base layer, then was painted over with light blue glow-in-the-dark paint. Since this is a prototype lens, the inner edges around the visible screen area are not as clean as I would like, and the airbrushed glow paint distribution is not perfectly even.
